A - Z Blogging Challenge: E is for Eish
I find the situations to use this word best fit when you are slightly shocked about something, or worried about something.
It is a 'gasp' as such, which represents the feeling of concern, but at the same time excitement.
I challenge you to use it in everyday life...Perhaps see if it catches on...
I believe it belongs in the dictionary...if the word 'LOL' can make it in the Oxford Dictionary so can 'Eish'
It can fit well in a text or in a conversation, and really sometimes just somes up a feeling which might normally take a sentence to express...off you go...use the word EISH!
EEEEEISSHHHH

A - Z Blogging Challenge: D is for Day to Day
Bringing back the popular moan of the day post series, today in the A-Z blogging challenge I will be sharing with you the day-to-day behaviours that just damn out right annoy me.

Day-to-day the more times the same annoying event or behaviour happens the more frustrating it becomes, and I become more dangerously wound up.
Annoying habits on the street/path/sidewalk
- People walking so slowly you thing you might fall over
- People spitting in the street and have no shame
- People walking in large groups in a row and you can't get past them without going in the road
- People who look like they are talking to themselves, but then turn out to be on bluetooth.
Party behaviours that just frustrate
- Not bringing out the buffet early enough
- Making unnecessary mess, and not putting items in the bin
- Not hearing the name of someone and accidentally bump into them all night
- People who just don't get the hint to leave
Restaurants/Going out for dinner
- Unfriendly staff who expect tips at the end of the meal
- Cold food that was clearly microwaved
- People who will only pay exactly what they ate and drank on the bill
- People who leave perfectly good food because they feel like a pudding
Meeting new people
- Pretending to care, knowing you will never see them again
- Pretending to be in a good job and having a direction in your life other than sitting down
- Hearing their life stories about unknown people, yet they are using their names
- Handshaking or kissing someone you don't know, have they even showered...

A - Z Blogging Challenge: C is for Conscience
The topic of conscience is something which I always question and ponder.
The difference from one person to another is fascinating in what they consider and deem to be both right and wrong. I understand that we are all governed by different societal values and deterministic values, however when it comes down to behaviour, crime and judgement why are our consciences all so diverse.
I find myself a prime example of someone whose conscience is a controlling factor of my life. I weigh the consequences and the benefits of a situation to establish what is best to do, whilst many others may jump straight in. Perhaps I am too focused on morals and judgments to not be free and spontaneous, but I do not find myself in trouble very often.
Is my conscience overacted compared to others, with constant worry and fear. Or is it others are more care free.
"If you've ever done someone wrong and then found yourself unable to look
that person in the eye, you've experienced the power of the human
conscience. It has a tremendous power over the spirit to either bring it great
strength or to sap it of its power"

"Friday" by Rebecca Black, cover by CIMORELLI
Well one of my favourite Youtube pass times is watching Videos from the Cimorelli sisters. They have covered Rebecca Black's 'Friday' in a unique and funny way.
They are having fun and almost taking the piss out of it, but yet the singing is still nice.
Nice to see the girls in up acting shots

A - Z Blogging Challenge: Day 1 - A is for Anecdote
So A is the first letter - so lets begin the challenge.
A is for Anecdote - So I am going to tell you all a little story...
Once upon time I was visiting my sister at university with a great of mine, we had stayed for a night and had really enjoyed our time there. It is was the winter of 2007, but there was no snow, it was only October and we wanted to head home after our stay.
We crossed over the road to go to the train station which was only two minutes from my sisters house, when we walked up to the station we were told it was closed. Yes in this moment we panicked and had a moment of craziness where we thought we must endure a bus ride of 3 hours opposed to a short 1hr30min train journey.
All was not to be feared....we would solve the problem. There was another train station only 10minutes away, so we believed we could walk there and catch the train we were meant to catch, it was just starting its journey there instead of the end of the line.
We left the closed train station and headed to cross back over the road and to my sisters house to inform her she would need to get dressed and ready and show us how to get to the other train station.
However, we hit a massive problem...Out of nowhere in the road was hundreds of people, and first we were stunned and confused to what the heck was going on.
We Established that not only was it a hundred people in the road, but hundreds of people moving very fast, we has stumbled upon a MARATHON!
It was the Great South Run in Portsmouth (2007), and we were stuck on the other side of the road. In the space of five minutes, the place had filled up whilst we were in the station.
We didn't know how to cross back over the road, amongst all the fun-runners, and hardcore runners. Collection buckets and people cheering runners on had appeared.
We rang my sister is a daze, confused as of what to do, the runners were blocking a road we needed to cross, and they were going all the way down it. On the phone we were waving to my sister on the other side of the road, seeing the hope of us returning home fading away into afar.
We had to make a decision, and it had to be quick, we didn't want to be stuck with the bus replacement service.
Our decision was to join in the marathon, I know it sounds strange, but he had to.
With our back packs and hooded coats, we stumbled into the road, amongst the short wearing athletes/fun runners. We couldn't walk across as there were too many of them, so we ran.
We were running the opposite direction from the house for about 10 seconds, as we ran diagonally down the road from one curb to another, trying not to get caught up in the feet of serious runners with stop watches.
We made to the other side, a little confused and in uncontrollable laughter. We had made it.

Our day ended well, but on the way to the next train station we had to cross over the marathon again, there was nothing we could have done.
It was a day to remember, and I will never forget it.

Random thoughts...
Time to focus on the wider goal, the end is in sight.
Don't let distractions pull you down and let the big problems overthrow your thoughts.
Time to take a step back and focus on what really counts and is going to get you the results you need.
If things are going well, roll with them, and make them stick.
Yes good news here as my work for final year at University is going well, and everything is on track for a successful revealing of results in the summer.
Don't forget to take some time out of your busy day to have a good time, have a laugh, a quick youtube browse, or a gander here of course.
The end of a three year era for me is starting to sum up and I hope for you and for me new challenges arise.

Moan of the day - Barry the Pigeon and I
The title of this post makes me laugh, anything with the word pigeon in it is bound to make me laugh, it is such an odd word, representing one of the oddest creatures.

Yes Pigeons are a little crazy at times, but the other day I had one of the funniest moments in my life, and yes it was with a pigeon.
Regular readers may know about my fear of birds, however this bird I met on the pavement recently wasn't scary but humourous and entertaining.
We have all been in the situation on a path when a yourself and another person try to walk past each other, except you both go to go the same way. Then you both head the other direction blocking each other.
Yes it is a confusing stepping process before someone stops and you can both pass usually laughing or apologising for getting in the way.
This is the situation I had with the pigeon, who I have now named Barry.
We were on a path, when we came head to bobbing head (Barry the pigeon is the bobbing head not me), this pigeon did go to fly off or move out my way, just instead stood his ground.
I went to go left and so did he, i went right, and he went right. This step repeated a few times, before we waddled out the way.
This situation involving Barry the pigeon was very humanising. It gave human character to this bird, and I wondered whether perhaps he had done this before.
He seemed to get the path passing process, and almost apologised on his exit. The personification of the bird was extremely funny and entertained me for a few short moments!
I hope you meet a funny bird to make you laugh soon, I for one hope Barry is well.
