Top 3 odd Moans!

This week we have 5 moans for you to ponder over, perhaps it is affecting your life currently!

1# Pigs in Blankets

Yes this is a serious moan this week as just a mere few days ago we were showered with these fantastic and tasty treats almost daily around the Christmas celebration and party period. I feel that many of us out there are suffering without them, as our cravings and withdrawal feelings kick in. Not to forget all that chocolate we got for Christmas is ever increasingly going down in its number. Soon we will be back to our normal food diets, paying more of course. Tax increase!!!

2# Expectations

It seems that no matter where I go I have expectations of work and chores to maintain. Even when you pop home for a relaxing break I seem to be getting caught you in daily tasks which no longer concern me. Online shopping for my nan, taking down the Christmas decorations, cleaning, cooking...ah when am I meant to complete my work amongst this hectic list.

3# Running out of time

It is approaching that time for many of us when we will be heading back to work, university and school and I am sure with no doubt that most of you are trying to delay this process. Yes we want to get back to see our friends and and earn some money, but many of us are still is kick back mode. We are still remembering the days of rest where all we did was opened a cracker and wore a silly hat. It is time to realise this year has begun, and we either need to stay with it or let it runway around us. I suggest staying on top of this year whilst we have some motivation.

Moan of the day 13/10/10

Today's moan is a bit of a cheap shot not only because I secretly love this place, but as it is also very cheap place to be.

I was in one on the leading retailers for low price goods (POUNDLAND) where I simply wanted some cheap equipment to conduct some D.I.Y (from IKEA). I had been walking around thinking of what I needed and had also grabbed some cheap crisps and notepads.

What did I really need.... A Phillips (you know.. its like a screwdriver).

I was queuing up to buy my items, for what seemed to take an eternity of foot tapping. I got to the till and the man serving me refused to sell me the Phillips.. it was just for some simply D.I.Y.

They weren't allowed to sell them to under 21's. This was surprising, as I could legally drink, smoke, drive, buy a house. However I could not simply do some hard labour.... tighten a bolt, make up a cabinet.

What has the world come to...? Not everyone is a driller killer, a crazy knife carrier or Phillips carrier.

I JUST WANT TO DO SOME D.I.Y

Doesn't that just get on your tits.

Anyway I got a middle aged man to buy it for me, and as 20year old I felt violated and without rights. Maybe I will shop on-line next time.

Irritant of the day...

So I have been made to wait in for some grocery shopping, which is to be delivered by Tesco, however the order has been made by my relative.

This was the first warning sign  and secondly that they had made an environmentally friendly order, this meant they wouldn't deliver the food in bags.

So as the man arrives I have to unpack all 60 items individually on the stairs, as of course the kitchen is too far way from the door.
Don't think helping the environment paid off in this case, as they still wrapped fresh meat in bags anyway!
